Quotations for Posters

I have trawled the internet for possible quotations to use on my posters. I will also be going through some of the books i have read for my dissertation, but these are what I have so far. I have broken them down into categories, they vary from very typographic quotes to random life quotes and quotes about the use of words. i wanted to find things that had a general type and word related theme.

Type Quotes:
Geometry can produce legible letter but art alone makes them beautiful. Art begins where geometry ends, and imparts to letters a character transcending mere measurement.
